Blue Dog Democrats

with 4 comments

bluedogWith all of the unrest in the country over Obamacare, I must applaud those few democrats who are standing up to Obama.  These blue dogs are caught between party politics and doing what is right for their districts and country.  Stay the course.

On another note, Rep Peter DeFazio of Oregon was at a town hall meeting claiming he didn’t vote for the stimulus plan.  Just so you have a point of refeence, he is left of Obama.  With a little digging, he voted for the stimulus plan in the house and no on the bill that made it out of conference.  His reasoning is that the conference bill gave too many tax breaks and reduced the amount of welfare.

  2. You forgot to mention Adam Schiff of California. Too bad he doesn’t think like Peter Schiff.
