Obama Quote

with 4 comments

“The future is not inherited, it is achieved.” This sounds like a perfectly good conservative statement, right? It was from JFK. I wish Obama would adhere to the terms of the real democratic party of the late 50’s/early 60’s. If he did we would all be better off.

  1. Obama was talking about change throughout the whole campaign. He talked about all types of change that government can do. Why do you suppose he didn’t talk about where change really happens, at home. During President Ronald Reagan first term, he addressed change by saying: “All great change in America begins at the dinner table.” We need to look in the mirror and stop looking to Washington to effect change in America.

  2. Try this one from Winston Churchill. Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.

  3. Here is a quote from Ayn Rand: A government is the most dangerous threat to man’s rights: it holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force against legally disarmed victims.

  4. Can you please tell me in what circumstances where socialism works? Throughout history when socialim has been tried, it has ended in a failure and a total collapse of the economy and the morale of the citizens. We must stop right now.
